Press Brake Operator

Overview

Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts for production of high-quality components.

Schedule

1st Shift: 7 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday - Thursday

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Review set up sheets and specifications to determine set up procedure and dimensions of finished piece.
  • Attach tooling to machine bed and program “stops” in machine.
  • Measure work pieces for conformance to specifications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Mobility requirements include standing, walking, reaching, and bending.
  • Other work-related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 3 years of prior experience
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Valid driver’s license with dependable means of transportation.
  • INTERVIEW REQUIRED

Turrett Press / Laser Operator

Overview

Work with advanced turret press and laser cutting equipment to produce precision metal parts.

Schedule

1st Shift: 7 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Review set up sheets and specification to determine set up procedure, machine sequence, and dimensions of finished pieces.
  • Attach punching tools to tool holder, position tool holders in machine, start up laser.
  • Load control media (tape, disks, etc.) in machine control console and enter commands. Observe numerical displays to verify adjustments.
  • Manipulate control and enter commands for cutting or punching to a specified set point.
  • Monitor laser gas for proper consumption and adjust laser parameters accordingly depending on material type and thickness.
  • Shear material for orders as required.
  • Help maintain physical inventory of sheet stock.
  • Maintain a clean work area including machine tools & assisting in preventative maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Mobility requirements include standing, walking, reaching, and bending.

Qualifications

  • High school equivalent. Further vocational training is helpful.
  • Good math skills, computer skills, blueprint reading skills
  • Valid driver’s license with dependable means of transportation.
  • INTERVIEW REQUIRED

CM Grinder/Polisher

Overview

Willing to train the right candidate who has general grinding knowledge or experience

Schedule

1st Shift: 7 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Grind or sand sharp edges and burrs from parts.
  • Operate stroke, belt, and orbital sanders along with pneumatic grinders.
  • Work to close limits according to blueprints or other specifications.
  • Responsible for pre-coating and/or final finish.
  • Locate, drill, countersink, tap, spot face, counterbore, and ream holes per blueprints.
  • Locate and weld studs per prints.

Qualifications

  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Valid driver’s license with dependable means of transportation.

Industrial Paint/Powder Coater

Overview

Paints or powder coats surfaces of manufactured metal products with wet paint or powder using a spray gun.

Schedule

2nd Shift: 3 PM – 1:30 AM, Monday - Thursday

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Indirect supervision and training of other team members is required.
  • Set up industrial washer for cleaning parts.
  • Mix coating, liquid to desired color, or pour powder into hopper.
  • Set baking oven to specified temperature to properly bake paint or powder.
  • Inspect parts after baking to ensure correct paint thickness using mill thickness gauge.
  • Remove parts from conveyor and de-mark as necessary.
  • Follow all ISO 9001 procedures and work instructions as they apply to position.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Mobility requirements include: standing, walking, reaching, and bending.
  • Work with foreman to determine job priority and necessary duties to keep wet paint/powder coat booth running as efficiently as possible while still meeting delivery dates.
  • Designate assignments for other team members working in the painting area each day.
  • Troubleshoot and correct problems as they arise or alert foreman and/or manager for support within a timely manner.
  • Set up and maintain parts washer, powder coat booth, and baking oven.
  • Maintain accuracy of paint inventory and inventory for supporting paint equipment parts (guns, nozzles, cables, etc.).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in painting and powder coating of precision sheet metal fabrications.
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Valid driver’s license with dependable means of transportation.
